LOST! The build up to the AWESOME finish you’ve been waiting for on Tellywonk

Tellywonk has been, like a monster, lurking at the edge of every single workday I have, and every other single piece I write.

I can’t write something else for Tellywonk, I tell myself, until I finish the season six recaps that I sat, earnestly and dedicatedly, through those many hours to get to.

And I’ve realised: the truth is this:

I hated the end.

Really. I hated it a lot. And I could see something coming that I might hate a lot from four weeks before the end, and so I thought it might be better to recap them all as it got toward the very last one. So I didn’t rush to do it. And then I saw then next one, and my heart sank. Next one? Heart sank further.

And then I saw the finale. And, frankly, the idea of deciding between watching THAT again and pretending I wasn’t going to be massively disappointed by the end, and just going and doing some other important piece of work that might need doing some time? Not a hard one.

Nevertheless, I have made a promise to myself and, now, in public, I’m going to get these limp, cheesy, pulled-out-of-some-glowing-hole few episodes out of the way over the weekend, so I can start writing about shit that hasn’t let me down recently, again.

Promise.

  2. Aww, what a shame. I liked it. I liked it a lot, and shed tears of happy.

  3. It wasn’t perfect by any means, but I loved it. For me, it was very emotionally fulfilling to see all the characters find their redemption and happiness.
