Advertising: not ALL bad

Now, first off, I just want to state for the record that I think that the actual product in question here smells like a bucket of dreadful, and I couldn’t be any less in the pay of these people in return for this mention, BUT I felt I needed to make up for posting that godawful Dodge thing the other day by posting this, just in case anyone has yet to see it. And also just to prove I’m not entirely anti-advertising. Because nothing is all bad, right? That’s the ethos of this site.
So: here’s an advert that made me laugh today about 497 times more than all of those stupid Superbowl ads put together.

It’s the “I’m on a horse” at the end that kills me.

Although some might argue that this advert is no less sexist in some terms than the ones I hated the other day, I would disagree. Also, I never said that the life of a politically correct liberal with a sick sense of humour wasn’t a daily tightrope of pain.
(I mean, it isn’t, but then, I never said it was, as previously stated…)

  1. Oh, yes, I laughed aloud at that one! My husband must see this – he uses their product. He finally gave up on the girly bodywash and made the switch. We’re all happy for it too. :)

  6. “Here’s two tickets for that think you like..”

In homes across the nation – “He has two tickets for that think that I like! He is perfect!”

You know, the world would be a much better place if all adverts made this much effort to be entertaining.

  7. That might be the best commercial I’ve seen in years. YEARS.

  8. Actually, I have to revise that and point out that it’s even funnier than THIS commercial, which was my favorite one until now:
